The Isle of Man has a long heritage of high quality manufactured products and engineering innovation. The landscape of the island is testament to some of these achievements typically demonstrated by the incomparable ”Great Laxey Wheel”, a marvel of Vitorian engineering.

In 21st century terms the island remains at the cutting edge of manufacturing technology with a thriving industry serving global sectors within space, aerospace, laser optics, industrial diamonds, electronics, plastics, precision engineering, ship building and associated research and design.

The Isle of Man Aerospace Cluster (IOMAC) is a Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) led iniative which binds together our hig concentration of aerospace manufacturers and service providers. This Cluster brings over 50 years of experience to the sector to serve the major global aerospace firms with the complex design and manufactured solutions to the very highest industry standards.

We are producers of speciality food and drink delicacies, manufactured from locally grown ingredients which benefit from the pure environment in which they thrive, many of which are exported around the world. Manx Cheese, seafood, kippers, beers, meat and meat products continue to win accolades across the globe for their purity and flavour.
